These Terms and Conditions govern your use of World Monitor, a mobile application operated by Oscar Manas. By downloading or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

01 Services provided

World Monitor provides:

• Real-time aggregation of global news and conflict events from public sources
• AI-powered intelligence signals synthesised from open-source information (OSINT)
• An interactive map displaying geopolitical events and incidents worldwide
• Premium features available via subscription

02 Subscriptions & payments

Certain features require a paid subscription. All purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings
• Refunds are handled according to Apple's or Google's refund policies
• Prices may change with advance notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance

03 AI-generated content

World Monitor uses artificial intelligence to process and synthesise information from public news sources and OSINT channels. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated summaries and signals may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information
• Content is provided for informational purposes only and should be independently verified for critical decisions
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any AI-generated content

04 Data sources & content

World Monitor aggregates information from publicly available sources including news RSS feeds, the GDELT Project, and public OSINT channels. Content displayed in the app:

• Remains the property of its original publishers
• Is displayed with attribution and links to the original source
• Is not redistributed in full — only summaries and snippets are shown

We process this information using AI to generate intelligence signals. These signals are derivative works created by Oscar Manas and are protected under applicable intellectual property law.

05 Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute app content without written permission
• Use the app to harass, threaten, or harm any individual or group
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or infrastructure
• Use automated tools to access the app at a rate that disrupts normal service

06 Intellectual property

All software, design, branding, and original content within World Monitor — including AI-generated signals, the map interface, and the app's visual identity — are the exclusive property of Oscar Manas. Nothing in these terms grants you a licence to reproduce or distribute any part of the app without prior written consent.

07 Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Oscar Manas shall not be liable for:

• Any loss or damage arising from reliance on app content
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Decisions made based on AI-generated intelligence
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind

08 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the app at our discretion, with or without notice, if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.

09 Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via an in-app notice. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

10 Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Barcelona, Spain, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
